Hello Dancers!!  Anyone else panicking that it's already mid-December???  Me too!!  Soooo behind on Christmas prep!!  Thank goodness Santa takes care of most of it.  Hope you can join us for this week's dance on Wednesday, December 10th!  We will celebrate the 50th wedding Anniversay of Corky & Graham!  Join us to make a fuss over them!! 

 

Plus, immediately following the dance we will "Deck the Hall" with Christmas decor!  Please join us if you would like - all are welcome!   We usually have snax and bevvies to enjoy while we decorate - please bring along if you want.

DETAILS FOR DANCE WITH TLC'S XMAS GALA!

WHEN: Wednesday, December 17th at 6:15-9:00pmish?  
DRESS:  Festive!
WHAT DO I BRING:  Food for the table OPTIONAL (The buffet tables worked so well last year that we decided to just do the same thing.) 

Please bring something "ready-to-serve'" to leave on the food table if you like! 

Also, please pick up your trays/leftovers when you leave - thank you!!

EVENINGS EVENTS: (times approximate)
6:15 - Christmas music begins  (all strict tempo for dancing!)
7:30-7:45 - first set of performances
8:15-8:30 - second set of performances
End time - 9:00pm??  We will play the music until your feet are too sore!!

-Christmas Gala - $25 per person.  

- NYE Gala - $35 per person.

TENTATIVE UPCOMING SCHEDULE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO AVAILABILITY OF CHURCH HALL). 
 

DANCE PRACTICE -   Wednesday,  December 10th - 6:30pm-8:00pm.  $15 per person.

DANCE PRACTICE -   Wednesday,  December 17th - 6:30pm- 9:00pm.  $25 per person. XMAS GALA!

DANCE PRACTICE -   Wednesday,  December 24th - NO DANCE - XMAS EVE

DANCE PRACTICE -   Wednesday,  December 31st - 8:00pm-???.  NFLD midnight at 10:30pm!  $35 per person. NYE/TL's Birthday GALA!

MASKING
A reminder that some people will be wearing masks at the dance.   Please be kind and respectful to your fellow dancers whether they choose to wear a mask or not - we will absolutely have zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination - we hope you understand.    Everyone has their own level of comfort, so there will be some still wearing masks, and some who aren't - either choice is welcome.     Thank you all so much for your kindness in this matter. xo

CHURCH PARKING
- Sadly, since the parking lot company has also suffered tremendous losses due to Covid, they are no longer offering any discounts of any kind.  So, as a result, if you choose to park in the church parking lot you must pay the listed price.  For dances, you will need to use the street parking (as you do for Glebe dances, or Rahim's Salsa, etc), or of course City hall is always an inexpensive option at just $2 , and WE WILL RE-IMBURSE YOUR $2 AT THE DOOR!!  We apologize for this, and tried very hard to negotiate with them, but sadly they wouldn't budge an inch.
